Description
Treana was a great find. The nose on this wine comes through as a mixture of cream and a little apple. The first sip shows the wonderful use of oak in aging this wine. The oak shows up as a nice vanilla and mild marshmallow flavor. The fruit and vegetable notes in this wine are somewhat complex but are more apparent as the wine warms up. You may find lemon zest, castelvetrano olive and endive. The vegetable flavors are less common in a buttery chardonnay but make for an interesting taste journey.
